TOP 11 on Golsfjellet The nicest thing about hikingtrails is that there are so many facinating landmarks that can be reach with a confortable walk and the minimum of climbing. “Top 11” - is a hiking program for everybody. All trails are marked so that it will be easy to find your way. Each top has its own code. If you register all the tops, you will have the chance to win prizes. You get brochure with map and participant-card at the tourist office or the overnight accommodation businesses. More information at www.golinfo.no AllemannsrettenAllemannsretten, the "all men's right" is a special Norwegian law. It means that you are allowed to travel freely an foot or by ski or bike, camp, ride on trails and roads, swim, row or sail, pick berries, mushrooms and flowers on all utmark, whether it is private property or not. It is not so with Innmark, which is all farmed or cultured land; fields, pastures, gardens, yards, young plant fields, industrial areas and other similar areas. Naturally, innmark is restricted. You are, however, allowed to travel across some innmark, such as fields and pastures when the ground is covered with snow in the period 15. Oct. - 30. Apr. You must always, whether you travel through utmark or innmark, close gates behind you and be conciderate of pasturing animals. If you have a dog, respect the leash laws. In Gol kommune, dogs mut be on leash between 1. April - 15. October. Also, be careful with open fire. It is illegal to make fires in or around wooded areas between 15. April and 15. September. |
