Bike trip 1
| This trip takes you round to the different family experiences on Golsfjellet. The description starts from Oset Høyfjellshotell, but as it is a round trip, you can start anywhere along the route. Follow the road from Oset past Ørterstølen to Bjørnelia. Continue up and south towards Kamben. Go right and follow Kambegutu past the Red Cross cabin and go on on a trail/dirt road to Storefjell. At Storefjell there are riding and swimming opportunities. If you are hungry, you can get lunch. Follow the road down from Storefjell and go left at the second crossroad. This road takes you back to Kamben. From here, go further down and on to the Fjellheimveien (the main road on Golsfjellet). Go left and ride back to Oset. When you get to Oset you can visit the Children's Farm, use the playgrounds or have a dip in the pool. Oset is also just a short way from lake Tisleifjorden where you will find good swimming opportunities and rowboat and canoo rental. |
